- Comment: La Boca is probably the most picturesque "barrio" of Buenos Aires. Settled by people coming from Genoa, Italy (probably the name La Boca has assonance with Boccadesse in Genoa), its characteristics are the colors of the houses, the dancers in the street and the artists who exhibit along Caminito. Now it is full of tourist and probably it is not so genuine as first time I visited, in 2002, when I was "living" a different atmosphere.
