- Comment: Mendoza and its province is part of the Cuyo region at the border with Chile and at the feet of Andes. There is also the hightest mountain of South America, "Cerro Aconcagua", about 200 km from the city of Mendoza. Plaza de España is undoubtedly the most beautiful square of the city, for its fountain and its ceramics.
