- Comment: Mendoza and its province is part of the Cuyo region at the border with Chile and at the feet of Andes. There is also the hightest mountain of South America, "Cerro Aconcagua", about 200 km from the city of Mendoza. When I shot this picture I was without my main camera, just with my point-n-shoot one. But I love this photo because of its atmosphere. Argentinian cities are so noisy but this "plazoleta" (a word that stands for little square) seemed to be out of the time, in another world!
