- Comment: Cremona is a nice city in Lombardia. I spent there only few hours but I really appreciated the calmness and the quality of life. The main place is the Piazza Duomo, the square where we can see some of the most important monuments of the city: the cathedral, the council building and the baptistry. Traditionally Cremona was found by Hercules and for that reason this monument, now at the feet of the Council Building, was placed at Porta Margherita (or Porta Romana), one of the ancient gates of the city.
